The general goal:

• Improve the capacity of the Qatar Red Crescent and the Qatari community to respond to disasters. & Building the capacity of the local community.

Secondary goals:

• Establishing a team of Qatar Red Crescent volunteers trained and specialized in disaster management to achieve a better and more effective response.
• Improving coordination with (capacity building) National Societies and National Institutions in the field of disaster response.​​ ​​
