QRCS Secretary-General meets Mali’s Ambassador

Ali bin Hassan Al-Hammadi, Secretary-General of Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), has received a delegation from the Embassy of Mali, headed by H.E. Chieck Ahmed Tidiany Diakité, Ambassador of Mali to Doha. The meeting was attended by H.E. Ahmed bin Abdulrahman Al-Sunaidi, Ambassador of Qatar to Bamako. The meeting discussed the humanitarian situation in Mali, particularly in the northern parts of the country. Mr. Diakité emphasized the dire need for all forms of aid for the affected communities. He commended the development and relief operations implemented by QRCS’s representation mission, in light of the good relations of friendship between Qatar and Mali. Mr. Al-Hammadi said QRCS held humanitarian action in Africa as a top priority in its strategy. He promised to examine proposals to expand humanitarian aid as widely as possible, bringing in international partners and Mal Red Cross. Everything would be closely supervised by Mr. Al-Sunaidi.
